SHIPPING POLICY

Charges

The charges for shipping and handling for online shopping at www.journalbypranay.com depends on the location to which you want your purchases to be sent.

For Customers within India -

** Product Prices displayed are inclusive of all taxes and duties.

**Free shipping is offered for orders of Rs. 5,000/- and above.

**Shipping charges of Rs. 200/- is applicable for orders below Rs. 2,500/-.

For customers outside India -

**International shipping charges as well as duties and taxes as applicable are payable by the customer.

**Handling or convenience charges may apply depending upon any special request for both customers within India and outside India.

Delivery

Items will be sent to the address provided by you to the website. Make sure that you recheck the address before you confirm the order so as to avoid incorrect delivery.

Delivery dates are not guaranteed in the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond our control. These interruptions include but are not limited to transportation system, customs clearance issues, shipping carrier or cardholder’s Credit Card Bank delays.

Multiple Delivery Service Providers

A single service provider may not have a strong network in all countries hence in order to optimize shipping lead times we work with several different service providers. A mail containing details of the service provider as well as the tracking information will be sent to you within 48 hours after an order is shipped from our store.

Time Frame

Domestic Shipping: Standard delivery time for any domestic orders i.e. orders within India, is 15 - 20 days unless otherwise specified for any particular product.

International Shipping: International delivery schedules are subject to any delays at transit, entry, customs and location accessibility points.

We will update you with the tracking details within 48 hours of the items being dispatched. Deliveries will take place between 09:00 A.M. to 06:00 P.M. unless otherwise specified.

Special Orders

In some cases, Journal by Pranay takes on special orders for customers most often on products that have been sold out but that can be remade. These are on a case to case basis and require us to check with our crafts centre if indeed it is possible to commit to. In the eventuality these are confirmed possible, please note that lead time to make and prepare to ship is variable and may extend beyond the committed time frame due to the handmade nature of the product, and placement within the current workflow run. Our team will monitor this and keep customers updated. Most importantly, due to the fluctuating nature of the raw materials over time, especially craftsman costs, material and zari, there may be a variation in cost between the product earlier showcased and the cost of the exact same product taken on as special order. Needless to say any variation will be communicated at the earliest to the customer, and evaluated by our team for accuracy.
